Troy Goodfellow

PR Manager - Historical Grand Strategy at Paradox Interactive

Troy Goodfellow has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Troy began their career in 1994 as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and worked there until 1999. In 2000, they joined Sussex Circle Consulting as a Research Associate but left in 2001. Goodfellow then became a Social Studies Teacher at River Hill High School from 2004 to 2006. Concurrently, they worked as a Freelance Writer from 2004 to 2011. In 2010, they also took on the role of Columnist/Contributor at PCGamer from July 2010 to February 2011. Goodfellow then transitioned to Evolve PR in 2011, where they worked as an Account Coordinator until 2014. Finally, they joined Paradox Interactive in January 2014 as a PR Manager focusing on Historical Grand Strategy games.

Troy Goodfellow completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Political Science/History at St. Thomas University in Canada from 1989 to 1993. Troy then pursued a Master's degree in Political Science at the University of Toronto, which they completed from 1993 to 1994. Following this, they continued their studies at the University of Toronto and obtained a Ph.D. in Political Science/International Relations between 1994 and 2000. Troy later enrolled at the University of Maryland, where they completed a Master of Education degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from 2004 to 2005.
