Rob Smolinski

Rob Smolinski started their work experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010. Rob then moved on to roles as a Software Engineer at Bloc, Inc. and Blend, where they focused on software development and later transitioned into security engineering. After founding Locktower, LLC in 2018 to develop a SaaS product for security teams, Rob worked as a Software Engineer at Stripe, focusing on user security. Their most recent role was as the Head of Engineering at Trustle, where they led engineering efforts before joining Parafin as a Security Engineer, Lead in 2023.

Rob Smolinski earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010. Rob furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution in 2012.
