Sahill Poddar

Sahill Poddar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Parafin. Sahill was previously the Head of Machine Learning Engineering at Robinhood from May 2016 to August 2020. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at Facebook from August 2014 to April 2016. Before that, they were a Data Scientist at LiquidM from September 2013 to June 2014. Sahill Poddar started their career as a PhD in Particle Physics at CERN from October 2008 to June 2013, where they discovered the Higgs-Boson with the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Sahill then did a brief stint as a Visiting Researcher at Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics from May 2007 to September 2007.

Sahill Poddar has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Physics from Imperial College London. Sahill also has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Elementary Particle Physics from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg / University of Heidelberg. Additionally, they are an Associate of the Royal College of Science in Physics from the Royal College of Science in London. Lastly, they have an International Baccalaureate from Mahindra United World College of India.
