Peter Dempsey has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Peter started their career as a Mainframe Operations Analyst Team Lead at Capgemini from 1998 to 2001. Peter then moved on to Allianz Australia Limited where they worked as an IT Continuity and Configuration Manager from 2002 to 2007. Peter joined Commonwealth Bank in 2008 and held multiple roles including IT Service Continuity Operations Manager, Senior IT Service Continuity Manager, and Mainframe SME Core Banking. Peter played a key role in various projects such as developing a new method for failover and failback of the Core Banking infrastructure, contributing to a successful mainframe hardware infrastructure refresh program, and creating IT Service Continuity processes for a Core Banking modernization program.
