Emery Max

Emery Max is the Co-Owner of Paragon Fitwear since January 2016 and has extensive academic experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University from 2013 to May 2017. During the tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant, Emery authored eight publications focused on human group dynamics and behavior, and successfully led a team of over 35 research assistants on a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Emery developed and instructed upper-level courses for undergraduate and master’s students, while also enhancing teaching methodologies through technical training for fellow instructors. Emery holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Psychology & Kinesiology from Hope College.
