Marlene Jia

Marlene Jia has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marlene most recently worked at Paragon One as the Head of Revenue, where they were involved in the mission to help corporations provide work experience for students. Prior to that, they held positions at Vendition, starting as an Advisor in 2015 and then progressing to VP of Finance & Operations and eventually Chief Operating Officer. Vendition is a sales apprenticeship program focused on preparing individuals for careers in tech sales. Marlene also served as an Author for Applied Artificial Intelligence, a guide for business leaders interested in leveraging machine intelligence. Marlene was the COO and Co-Founder of TOPBOTS, a publication and community for enterprise AI professionals, and worked as the Revenue Operations and Finance Lead at Wizeline, a product lifecycle software company. Marlene began their career at Ustream, Inc. as a Business Analyst and later became the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. Marlene also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at ThinkEquity LLC and co-owned a company called Campus Solutions Storage & Shipping, Inc.

Marlene Jia received their BA in Economics from Northwestern University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in June 2020.
