Rithwik Sudharsan is a researcher at Berkeley Lab since January 2020, focusing on generative modeling of galaxy images and efficient machine learning for satellite images. As a founding member of the Paragon Policy Fellowship, Rithwik leads initiatives involving multiple government partnerships and strategic development. Rithwik has also served as an AI Fellow at Felicis, engaging in AI and venture capital exploration. Experience in computer vision research at Grabango and as a perception intern at Zipline contributed to advancements in checkoutless shopping and drone navigation for medical deliveries. Previous roles include an SDE intern at Amazon, a software engineer at Valiu developing cryptocurrency solutions for Venezuelan refugees, and an AI associate at the Institute for Security and Technology analyzing AI risks in military contexts. Rithwik's open-source contribution includes developing a widely-used chess scoresheet scanner during tenure at ReineChess. Rithwik is currently pursuing education at the University of California, Berkeley.
