Kelly Falter has extensive experience in system and component level requirements generation, design, development, integration, and testing. Kelly began their career in 1987 as an Engineer/Program Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In 1999, they were hired as a Sr. Manager, IT Operations at E.W. Scripps and also became an Owner/Sr. Partner at Cadre5, LLC. In 2010, they became the Owner/Executive Vice President/Chief Scientist at Paragon Research Corporation, a Woman-Owned Small Business with personnel work experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Missile Defense Agency, Space & Missile Defense Command, Army Aviation & Missile Research, Development & Engineering Center, as well as county, city, and state government.

Kelly Falter completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics at Murray State University from 1982 to 1986. Kelly then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 1987 and 1994.
