Robotics and PLC Repair Team Lead at Paragon Technologies

Jamie Main has a variety of technical work experience. They started their career in 2007 as a Junior Electronic Engineer in the British Army, where they were responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles. They then moved up to become an Electronic Technician, where they upgraded equipment and increased training effectiveness for troops. Additionally, they became an Electronic Technician Supervisor, overseeing the maintenance of vehicles and managing a team. In 2015, Jamie joined Intertek as a Testing Technician, providing technical support and following testing procedures for safety standards. Currently, Jamie is the Robotics and PLC Repair Team Lead at Paragon Technologies, where they lead a team in repairing programmable logic controllers for industrial customers. They also program test equipment and use various software packages for confirmation of repairs.

Jamie Main attended Doncaster College from 2005 to 2006 and earned a National Diploma (BTEC) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Their field of study was Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Jamie obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in August 2015.
