Gregory Horine

Senior Director, Paragon Security Services at Paragon Technology Group

Gregory Horine has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Gregory began their career in the United States Air Force as a Ground Radar Superintendant and served in that role for over 20 years. After leaving the military, they worked as an Operations Systems Security Specialist at CSC, where they handled DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process packages. Gregory then joined ARINC Engineering Services, LLC as a Senior Staff Analyst II (Logistics) before returning to CSC as a Senior Information Security Engineer. At CSC, they managed the DIACAP process for a worldwide enterprise transportation computing system and provided security advice and guidance to program management. Gregory also worked at Paragon Technology Group as a Senior Security Engineer Task Lead and later as the Senior Director of Paragon Security Services. In these roles, they managed the DIACAP certification program for major transportation information technology systems and led a team of security engineers. Gregory also served as an Information System Security Officer and played a key role in transitioning from DIACAP to the Risk Management Framework. Most recently, they worked at ECS as an Information System Security Officer before retiring.

Gregory Horine pursued their education in a chronological order. Gregory began by attending the Community College of the Air Force from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electronics Systems Technology. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, they continued their studies at the same institution, completing another AS degree, this time in Avionics Systems Technology.

Gregory'seducational journey continued as they enrolled at the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology. Lastly, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration also from the University of Phoenix.
