Susan Liu

Susan Liu is the current Chief Operating Officer at Parallel, a leading cannabis company. Susan has an extensive background in both the private and public sectors, with experience in clinical operations, marketing, and growth strategy.

Previously, Susan served as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Cerebral Care, a rapidly growing healthcare startup. In this role, they oversaw the clinical operations and customer service functions, scaling the company to serve over 200,000 patients in less than two years. Susan also grew the clinical network from less than 100 to more than 2,000 nationwide in less than one and a half years.

Prior to their work at Cerebral Care, Susan was an Emerging Markets Private Equity Analyst at Satya Capital, advising on market potential and business model economics of potential private equity investments in Africa in health care and consumer goods. Susan also served as the Head of Growth and Growth Ops for Northspyre, a data analytics startup, and as Scale-up Strategy and Marketing Lead for Rising Academy Network.

In their most recent role before joining Parallel, Susan was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where they advised clients on how to enter and succeed in new markets.

Susan Liu attended Yale University for their undergraduate degree, where they studied political science and psychology. Susan then attended the Harvard Kennedy School for their masters in public administration. Finally, they attended the Wharton School for their masters of business administration.
