Parag Agrawal

Parag Agrawal is a prominent technology executive and founder of Parallel Web Systems Inc., a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Agrawal served as CEO and CTO of Twitter from October 2011 to October 2022, where significant contributions included leadership in software engineering. Earlier in the career, Agrawal held research positions at renowned companies including AT&T Labs, Microsoft Corporation, and Yahoo!, notably from June 2006 to September 2010. Agrawal earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Stanford University, where studies took place from 2005 to 2012, and a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
