Issac Kuo Cfa

Issac Kuo has a diverse work experience, including roles in the finance and investment industry. They started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate before moving on to Financial Security Assurance, where they worked as an AVP Healthcare Underwriter. They then joined Assured Guaranty as a Municipal Surveillance Analyst, actively monitoring and analyzing credit trends in a $12.6 billion portfolio. Isaac later joined Eaton Vance TABS, where they held multiple roles, including Co-Director of SMA Strategies and Portfolio Manager. They managed a team and grew a Municipal Ladder Franchise from a few hundred million to $30 billion in AUM. Their deep credit background was valuable as the lead portfolio manager of the ladder strategy, focusing on the BBB space. Additionally, they built a custom Order Management System to support efficient growth and customization. Isaac is currently working at Parametric as the Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Quantitative Research. They lead the investment technology efforts for Parametric Fixed Income, overseeing a team of six. Their responsibilities include managing quantitative research within the fixed income asset class and prototyping and deploying tools and new investment strategies.

Isaac Kuo CFA, CPA began their education in 1998 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2002, Kuo furthered their education at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Issac pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting, which they successfully completed in 2003. Through their educational journey, Kuo has developed a strong foundation in both mathematics and accounting, equipping him with valuable knowledge and skills in these respective fields.
