Austin Fisher

Vice President at Parametrix

Austin Fisher has a strong work experience in the engineering and consulting industry. Austin started their career at Barghausen Consulting Engineers in 2000 as a Design Engineering 2 and worked there until 2001. From there, they joined Parametrix in 2001 as a Civil Engineer and worked in this position until 2019. During this time, they gained expertise in engineering, planning, and environmental science services. In 2020, Austin was promoted to Regional Division Manager - Transportation at Parametrix, where they led a team of nearly 100 professionals and was responsible for business development, delivery, and quality control. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President for the Puget Sound region at Parametrix, providing operational, client service, and business development leadership.

Austin Fisher completed a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Surface Water Hydrology at Portland State University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Hydrology & Water Quality from Washington State University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Austin also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from Washington State.
