Deb Woody has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Deb began their career as an LPN at UTMC from 1981 to 1986. Deb then worked at ProMedica, where they held various roles such as Gynecology/Oncology/Detox Nurse, High-Risk Antepartum Nurse, Outpatient Surgical Nurse, Case Manager/Educator, and finally became the Case Management Manager. In 2006, they started working at Paramount Health Care as a Case Manager and later held positions such as Manager, Medicare and Behavioral Health Utilization/Case Management and Director of Utilization and Case Management. Recently, they became the Executive Director of Care Management at Paramount Health Care in 2015.
Deb Woody has a comprehensive education history in the field of healthcare. Deb began their education with a Licensed Practical Nursing Training program at Northwest Ohio in 1980, graduating with an LPN diploma in 1981. Deb then pursued an Associate Degree in Nursing at Owens Community College from 1989 to 1992. Continuing their education, Deb obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Spring Arbor University between 2006 and 2008. To further enhance their knowledge and skills, they pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Leadership & Management at Walden University from 2010 to 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Deb also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Deb obtained a certification in Integrated Care Management from UMass Medical School in May 2013. Prior to that, they became a Certified Case Manager (CCM) through the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) in 2007.
