Shannon Appelhans is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with a diverse background in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as an RN Health Educator at Paramount Health Care since December 2020, Shannon focuses on educating both adult and pediatric members in Population Health. Prior experience includes roles as a Pain Management RN at Wood County Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed running a busy clinic and handling all aspects of clinical nursing, as well as a Dialysis Nurse at DaVita Kidney Care. Shannon also worked as a Circulating Nurse at The Bellevue Hospital and Fisher-Titus Medical Center, specializing in perioperative care across multiple specialties. Additionally, experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse includes maternal and neonate care. Shannon holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing from Mott Community College, completed between 1998 and 2002.
