Garret Metcalfe

Garret Metcalfe is a reservoir and production engineer at Paramount Resources since February 2022, where responsibilities include managing the performance of four mature oil and gas fields and optimizing production across over 100 wells. Prior to this role, Garret served as a facilities engineer-in-training, focusing on project planning and design, and as an operations engineer-in-training, executing Management of Change projects in the Grande Prairie field office. Garret's earlier experience includes working as a project engineer-in-training at Bluestar Engineering Ltd., where involvement in diverse energy projects provided valuable exposure to engineering design and construction. Garret began the engineering career as an intern at Artis Exploration Ltd. and Artek Exploration Ltd. Garret holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University.
