James McCarthy

James McCarthy is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Paramount Resources since August 2017, James has previously held positions as an Operations Geologist at Apache Corporation from February 2014 to August 2017 and at Saudi Aramco from January 2012 to January 2014. Earlier in his career, James worked at Halliburton from March 2010 to December 2011, where roles included LWD/MWD Engineer, Directional Driller, and Field Technician. James holds a Master of Science degree from Arizona State University, completed in 2012, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Otago, which was earned between 2007 and 2010.
