Michael Russell

Michael Russell, SCP has extensive work experience in various industries. Michael currently holds the position of Human Resources Director at Parc Environmental since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Realtor at Keller Williams Westland Realty starting from October 2011.

From March 2021 to September 2022, Michael served as the Senior Human Resources Manager at Gemini Legal. Michael has also held the position of Board Member at Central Valley Veterans since March 2011.

In their past roles, Michael served as the Vice President of Admin & HR at Edeniq from September 2009 to January 2020. Michael was the President/CEO of Stone Mountain Development Company from January 2007 to August 2008.

Furthermore, they were the Tribal Administrator at Table Mountain Rancheria from May 2004 to August 2006. Michael has also worked at Gap Inc. as the Regional Human Resources Director from May 1999 to March 2004.

Before transitioning into HR, Michael served as a Naval Aviator in the U.S. Navy from May 1986 to March 1997. Michael also gained HR experience as an Employee/Labor Relations Specialist at the Department of Navy, Civilian Human Resources Office from March 1997 to September 1999.

Michael Russell, SCP has a Master's degree (M.S.) in Human Resources Management from Chapman University, which they obtained between 1993 and 1995. Michael also holds a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Cartography from the University of Idaho, which they completed from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SCP) from the Society of Human Resource Management, obtained in December 2022, and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in May 2022. Michael also received the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2013 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI in May 2002. Michael has obtained additional certificates in Leadership and Management and Talent Optimization from The Predictive Index in 2021.
