Marcos Lizarraga

Marcos Lizarraga is a psychiatrist with extensive experience in community mental health and psychiatric rehabilitation. Currently serving as a psychiatrist at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu since January 2020, Marcos is involved in community care through CSMA and PSP programs, and also works at SERPI, catering to approximately 200 hospitalized users. Previously held roles include municipal psychiatrist at Hospital Dr. Abel Zubizarreta, external consultant in private practice, coordinator for the psychiatry sector at the Government of Buenos Aires, and multiple positions during a residency at Hospital Durand. Education includes a medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires, a psychiatry specialty from the Ministry of Health National, and a postgraduate degree in neuropsychology and childhood behavioral neurology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Additionally, Marcos is pursuing further specialization in psychiatry through the Ministry of Health Spain as of November 2023.
