Shaalan Roudan-Lazim has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Shaalan is currently working as a Business Analyst at ParcelVision since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ParcelHero.com, where they held multiple roles including Head of Training and Quality Control from an unspecified date in 2018 to December 2021, and Senior Management from May 2016 to December 2021. Shaalan Roudan-Lazim has a diverse education history. In 2001, Shaalan attended Sir Roger Manwood's Grammar School, where they completed their GCSEs in various subjects. From 2003 to 2005, they studied at Landsdowne College and pursued A-levels in History, Biology, and Art.

Shaalan then enrolled at the University of Roehampton in 2007 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. During their time at the university, they focused on studying the Medieval Islamic empire, Latin American revolutions, and historical theory and practices.

In 2015, Shaalan furthered their education by completing the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program at CELTA International House London. This certification allowed them to become a language instructor specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL).

In addition to their academic achievements, Shaalan has obtained several certifications. They became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in February 2023 and acquired the Zendesk Support Administrator Expert I certification in August 2021 from Zendesk. They also have the Zendesk Support Administrator certification from June 2021. Furthermore, Shaalan holds the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from May 2022 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from April 2022. Finally, in April 2015, they obtained the CELTA B certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
