Elizabeth Lacy

Elizabeth Lacy has over 25 years of legal experience (4½ years in-house at a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company and 20+ years in private practice). Prior to joining Pardes, Elizabeth was the General Counsel, Senior Vice President of Legal Operations, and Corporate Secretary for Assembly Bio (NASDAQ:ASMB), a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company focused on infectious disease and diseases associated with the microbiome. During her 4½ years with ASMB, Elizabeth efficiently built the legal team that supported operations and advised on corporate governance, SEC reporting matters, equity offerings, HR, compliance and other operational matters as ASMB moved from a pre-clinical stage company to clinical stage.

While in private practice with Barnes & Thornburg, Kirkland & Ellis and Jones Day, Elizabeth worked in a variety of legal areas, including venture capital, private equity, asset- based lending, general corporate counseling and board governance. She earned an AB in Public Policy from Duke University and JD, summa cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University. She is a member of the State Bars of Illinois and Indiana.
