Karen Harvey is an experienced professional in the field of mental health and family education, currently serving as the Assistant Manager to Therapeutic Services and an Infant Mental Health Therapist at The Parent Child Center of Tulsa since July 2011. In this role, Karen Harvey leads initiatives such as the Never Shake a Baby program, which focuses on educating teens and new families about appropriate ways to calm crying infants and the risks of shaking. Previously, Karen Harvey worked as a Family Life Educator at Family and Children's Services, teaching families skills for bonding, praise, and discipline, as well as cooperative parenting during divorce. Additionally, Karen Harvey served as a Mental Health Specialist and Children's Therapist at Tulsa Educare, providing consultation on social-emotional development for preschoolers and their families in underserved communities. Karen Harvey holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Northeastern State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Washington University.
