Leonor Velazquez Davila is an Associate Director in the Antitrust Compliance and Americas Legal Compliance team at Intel Corporation, where she has specialized in legal compliance topics since she joined in December of 2016. Prior to joining Intel, she was an antitrust attorney at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) where she investigated proposed acquisitions and provided legal expertise to agencies around the world. Ms. Velazquez Davila is a non-governmental advisor to the International Competition Network for the US FTC. She has co-authored several articles, including a business article that received a Concurrences Antitrust Writing Award in 2020. In 2019, Women Competition Professionals recognized her as a top 40 competition professional in the Americas.
Ms. Velazquez Davila’s involvement in the community includes board service and/or leadership positions on the Girl Scouts of San Diego, the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation, and Intel’s California Pro Bono Committee. In the past, she also served as a board member to the Hispanic Bar Association of Washington D.C. She received her BA from UC San Diego, her JD from the George Washington University School of Law, and her Masters in International Affairs from the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs. She grew up in Chula Vista and currently resides in San Diego with her two children.
