Emily Aron

Emily Aron is a professional with extensive experience in mental health and education. As a Founder Member of Parenthood Ventures since March 2022, Emily has contributed to building a founder ecosystem for ParentTech startups, raising over $65 million in funding for innovative products and services for families. Emily holds multiple roles, including Editorial Advisory Board member at Contemporary Pediatrics and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Georgetown University, where Emily co-created infant and early childhood mental health certificate programs. Additionally, Emily serves as Medical Director at MedStar Health, leading a team to provide culturally responsive mental health services, and engages in various initiatives to support marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ population. With a strong educational background from Cornell University and Georgetown University School of Medicine, Emily's expertise encompasses child and adolescent psychiatry, community health, and professional identity formation.
