Kerry Caverly

Senior Vice President/Chief Program Officer at Parents as Teachers National Center

Kerry Caverly has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. In 1989, they worked at St. Louis Community College as a Child Development Center Teacher and Community Trainer. Kerry'srole involved leading classes for infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds, as well as supervising college students. Kerry continued working at the college until 1994.

In 1990, Kerry joined Florissant Valley Community College as a Trainer/Teacher for Workshop on Wheels. During this time, they provided training and teaching to various individuals.

Starting in 1994, Kerry began their long tenure at Parents as Teachers National Center (PATNC). Kerry held multiple roles, including Director of the Center for Professional Development and Enrichment, Director of Replication, Training and Technical Assistance, Director of Affiliations and Program Support, Vice President of Expansion and Model Replication, and Senior Vice President/Chief Program Officer. Throughout their time at PATNC, Kerry demonstrated growth within the organization and contributed to the development of training programs, curricula, and grants. Kerry is currently associated with the organization in a leadership position.

Lastly, in 2019, Kerry joined the Board of Directors at YWCA Metro St. Louis, where they continue to contribute their expertise and insights.

Kerry Caverly completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Development from Truman State University from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, Kerry attended Hubbard High School from 1980 to 1984. After working for a period of time, Kerry started pursuing an M.Ed in Adult Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 2006, although the end year for this program is unknown.
