Baljit (Boo) Samra is a seasoned executive in clinical operations with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations for Asia Pacific at Parexel since May 2020, Baljit oversees a team of over 1,600 professionals, focusing on quality, productivity, and business growth. Baljit holds advisory board positions at companies such as Castor, Immunity Health, and Path BioAnalytics, and has provided strategic consulting to various academic and biotech organizations. Previously, Baljit was Chief Operating Officer at Duke Clinical Research Institute and held multiple leadership roles at Parexel International, where significant advancements in operational efficiency and partnership growth were achieved. Baljit holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Manchester and has completed finance courses at Harvard Business School and the Indian School of Business.
