Christian Wagener

Christian Wagener is a seasoned leader in early phase project management within the clinical research sector, currently serving as Vice President for both the Early Phase Project Management Office and the Early Phase Clinical Unit in Berlin at Parexel since November 2022. Previously, Christian held various senior positions at PAREXEL International GmbH from October 2008 to November 2022, including Senior Client Relationship Director and Senior Portfolio Director, focusing on operational excellence, strategic partnership evaluation, and oversight of clinical projects. Christian's extensive experience encompasses project management, financial oversight, and stakeholder communication, along with a solid academic foundation, holding a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine and a Diplom in Biology from Freie Universität Berlin.
