Ilona Salacanin

Ilona Salacanin is an experienced professional in clinical operations and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations North America at Parexel since April 2019. Ilona has held multiple leadership roles, including Executive Director for Clinical Operations in the EMEA region and Head of Site Start-Up in the same area, managing a team of over 300. Prior to Parexel, Ilona was a Senior Director at Syneos Health, overseeing Global Feasibility, Site Identification, and Clinical Informatics with a team of 50+. The career also includes significant roles in INC Research, ICON plc, Quintiles Transnational, and Sandoz, demonstrating a solid background in clinical research and project management. Ilona holds an MBA in Project Management from UN University and a Master's in Pharmacy from the University of Belgrade.
