Shelby Johnson

Shelby Johnson, CCRA, is a seasoned clinical operations professional with extensive experience in managing clinical trials across various therapeutic areas. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Operations Lead at Parexel since November 2022, Shelby coordinates functional team activities and collaborates with project management to meet project deliverables. As the owner of Johnson Clinical Consulting, LLC, since June 2021, Shelby also held the position of Manager, Clinical Monitoring at Emmes, overseeing CRAs for NCI funded AIDS-related cancer trials. Previous roles include Associate Clinical Project Manager and Senior Clinical Research Associate at BD, and Senior Clinical Research Associate at PPD, where Shelby managed international teams, led clinical studies, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. Shelby began the career as a Clinical Research Associate at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
