Sinan B. Sarac (MD, MSc, PhD) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and regulatory field. Starting in 2012, they worked at Lægemiddelstyrelsen (Danish Medicines Agency) as a Senior Medical Officer, responsible for clinical evaluations in oncology and haematology, providing scientific advice to industry. Sinan also served as the Chief Medical Officer, overseeing scientific input to centralised procedures. In 2013, they joined the European Medicines Agency, where they held various roles, including Chair of CHMP's Oncology Working Party (ONCWP) and CHMP member/alternate. Their expertise lies in the area of cancer, and they were involved in the evaluation of multiple cancer products. In their most recent role at Parexel since 2022, they serve as the Vice President of Regulatory Strategy, providing strategic, regulatory, and clinical advice, particularly in relation to important submissions to regulatory agencies. Additionally, they served as a member of the steering committee at Biopeople from 2017 to 2020.

Sinan B. Sarac holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Sinan also possesses a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Ulm University. Moreover, Sinan B. Sarac has a Certificate in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.
