Martijn van Rooy

Martijn van Rooy has been working since 2015 in the perfume industry. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a B2B Sales & Business Development at YVRA 1958, a niche perfume brand that launched in Amsterdam. Martijn'srole involved distribution to high-end retail throughout Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, USA, Middle East & Russia. In 2017, Martijn founded Parfumado, a company that changed the way people discover perfumes by allowing them to discover & experience more than 550 top prestige & niche fragrances for a full month without having to commit to a full bottle. Martijn also used user data and unique algorithms for personalized recommendations.

Martijn van Rooy attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology. Martijn then returned to VU Amsterdam from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration.
