Martin Slawik has extensive work experience in various roles at Douglas, a retail company. Martin started in 2008 as a Software Development Engineer and worked until 2013. Martin then transitioned to Martin Slawik, where they worked as a Web Developer and Social Media Consultant from 2003 to 2014. In 2013, they returned to Douglas as a Team Leader for Intra/Extranet Portals IT until 2017. From 2017 until the present, they have served as the Head of Customer Relationship & Data Technologies at Douglas.

Martin Slawik attended Fachhochschule Südwestfalen from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics).
