Diane Nation has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Diane started their career in 1991 as a Staff RN at St Mary of the Plains Hospital. Diane then worked at the Medical Arts Clinic as an RN and Office Coordinator for a short period in 1995. Diane then joined Christus St Joseph's Health System, where they held various roles such as Circulating RN in Cath Lab, House Supervisor, and Manager of a 15-bed intensive care unit. In 2001, they worked as a Staff RN at Dynamic Nurses and later joined Caring Hands Staffing as an RN from 2002 to 2004. Diane also served as the Director of Wound Care at the Wound Care Center from 2004 to 2007. Diane then became the Marketing Director at Guardian Home Health Care, where they created marketing practices for Home Health and Durable Medical Equipment. Diane's most recent role was at Paris Regional Health, where they worked from 2009 to 2014. Diane started as a Nurse Navigator, implementing health and wellness programs and providing case management services. Later, they became the Employee Health Nurse, responsible for assessing and reassessing occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Finally, Diane served as the Director of Education and Patient Response Center, overseeing the Education Department and developing education programs to improve organizational performance.

Diane Nation obtained their Master's Degree in Nursing Education from The University of Texas at Arlington from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating in 1991.
