Mike Pavitt

Mike Pavitt currently serves as a Council Member for the R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals, representing the Southern and Thames Valley Region. With over a decade at Paris Smith LLP as the Lead Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency Partner, Mike has significantly developed the firm's insolvency services, achieving notable recognition in leading legal directories. Mike's involvement in the Southampton Operatic Society since 1998 includes roles as a singer, performer, writer, and assistant secretary, earning Life Membership in 2022. Formerly, Mike held several leadership positions within R3, including Immediate Past Chair and Chairman of the Southern Region Committee, and was a partner at Blake Lapthorn. Academically, Mike holds a degree in Law from the University of Nottingham and a Legal Practice Course qualification from Nottingham Law School.
