Jari Ognibeni

12 years of experience in innovation consulting and investment in innovative startups and manufacturing SMEs in Italy and abroad.

Today Jari Ognibeni is Partner and founder of Pariter Partners Srl, a holding company based in Trento and Milan that invests in technology companies in sectors such as industrial automation, artificial intelligence and bio-medical.

Pariter is the first holding company that launched the Syndicate Investing formula in Italy in 2018, particularly in the Checkout Technologies S.r.l. (Italian company that develops Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions for the automation of the retail sector).

His experience in contact with the corporate world began in 2008 when, after an experience in Ebay Italy, he held the role of Partner and Innovation Manager at the Trentino Technology District, a national consortium with more than 210 associated companies, where he managed investments in development and innovation of SMEs in the green-building, industrial automation and energy sectors for a total of € 19 million between 2008 and 2011.

Jari then founded Industrio Ventures in 2013, the first accelerator dedicated to hardware and manufacturing startups in Italy, located at the Mechatronics Hub of Rovereto (TN), with which it invested capital for € 1.5 million collected by institutional investors, business angels and entrepreneurs International.

In Industrio Ventures, he led the entire selection and investment process in 10 startups and created 3 exit (with an average 3x multiplier on the initial investment).

Jari Ognibeni is an active business angel with more than 30 investments made in the last 5 years in international companies and is a member of the Turin Investors Club and Trentino Investors Club.

He graduated in Business Economics from Bocconi University and attended the Master in Management at the Catholic University of Milan; today Jari oversees the activities of the client and investment portfolio of Pariter Partners and is a member of the Board of Directors of the company Prebiomics S.r.l. based in Trento.
