Aaron Bassett

Aaron Bassett is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in developer relations and education within the technology sector. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Developer Education Engineer at Accelerate Polkadot since July 2024, Bassett previously held roles as Developer Education Engineer at Polkadot and Principal Developer Relations Engineer at Parity Technologies, where notable achievements included graduating top of the cohort from the Polkadot Blockchain Academy. Prior experience includes Principal Developer Relations Engineer at New Relic, Senior Developer Advocate at MongoDB, and various technical leadership positions at other technology firms. Bassett also co-founded Level Up, a digital development agency, and has a strong background in Python and JavaScript technologies, supported by a foundational education at Coleraine Academical Institution from 1994 to 2001.
