Jake Altabef

Jake Altabef has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jake started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester in 2017, where they focused on interdisciplinary research funded by the National Science Foundation, specifically in the field of machine learning applications for music. During this time, they utilized Matlab, Python, UNIX, and Blue Gene/Q for feature extraction of audio signals and data mining. Jake also attended seminars and discussions on TensorFlow, machine learning, and deep learning.

In 2018, Jake joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they worked for a period of three months.

In 2019, Jake joined Pariveda as a Full-Stack Engineer, and gradually progressed to the role of Senior Full-Stack Engineer in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Software Engineer.
