Bruce Riezenman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food and catering industry. Bruce has been an independent consultant since 2004, specializing in teaching and motivational speaking on food and wine pairing. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Park Avenue Catering, which they started in 1990. Bruce also worked as a chef and co-owner at Park Avenue Catering, LLC from 1990 to 2023. In 2012, they became the executive chef and owner of Park 121 Café & Grill until 2019. Additionally, they were an author and partner for the mobile app Pair It! from 2009 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they held executive chef and owner positions at Buona Sera Ristorante, Prospect Park Restaurant, and New Deal Restaurant.
Bruce Riezenman attended the University at Buffalo from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Electrical Engineering. Bruce subsequently attended The Culinary Institute of America from 1977 to 1979, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
