Eddie Healy is an accomplished music educator and co-founder of Motivata Music, specializing in music theory, composition, and vocal diction since January 2022. Instructing at Dallas College since August 2003, Eddie teaches guitar and music theory at various levels, directs guitar ensembles, and conducts the Brookhaven-Allegro Guitar Orchestra as part of the continuing education program. Additionally, Eddie serves as the Education Director of the Houston Classical Guitar Festival and holds the position of Assistant Director for the Texas Guitar Festival and Competition at The University of Texas at Dallas. With a rich background that includes private instruction at The Gray School of Music, performances for the City of Addison, and experience as a faculty member at ChamberArt Madrid, Eddie possesses extensive expertise in both practical and theoretical aspects of music education. Eddie earned a PhD in Humanities from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of North Texas.
