Niels Vernegaard

Niels Vernegaard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and alpine skiing instruction. Currently serving as an Alpine Ski Instructor at Park City since January 2015 and holding a PSIA Level II certification, Niels has previously held several executive roles, including EVP/COO at United Surgical Partners International, Inc, and CEO positions at Research Medical Center, Parkridge Health System, and The Wellington Hospital. Niels began the career in healthcare management as COO at Wesley Medical Center after serving as President/CEO at HCA International Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Rollins College.
