Rich Wakefield is an experienced professional in the fields of safety instruction and operational management. Currently, Rich serves as a Riding Academy Network Quality Consultant at Harley-Davidson Motor Company since January 2015 while also instructing as a PSIA Level 1 Alpine Ski Instructor at Snow Trails Winter Resort since November 2012. Rich has a long history as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor for the State of Ohio and Harley Davidson Riders Academy since August 2002, focusing on curriculum delivery for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Prior to these roles, Rich worked as an instructor at Ameritraining, Inc., teaching classes related to AT&T's pole climbing and inside wiring. Rich’s career began at AT&T, where the role of Manager of Operations spanned from May 1972 to January 2012, overseeing training development and managing installation and repair teams.

Snow Trails Winter Resort
Located in Mansfield Ohio, Snow Trails was the first commercial ski area in Ohio and is open 7 days a week December through March for skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing. There are 17 trails, 6 chairlifts, 3 terrain parks and a snowtubing park. Rental equipment and lessons are available for children and adults daily. The day lodge has a cafeteria, deli and 2 bars and is open to the public.
