Bret Hughes

Bret Hughes is an experienced instrumental music teacher at Park City School District since January 2008, specializing in middle and high school percussion, music theory, and technical theater. In addition to teaching, Bret is a freelance musician since May 2011, serving as section leader and principal percussionist, responsible for performance logistics and managing percussion sections. Bret holds a Master's degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Utah (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Wyoming (2004-2008).
