Matt Watson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt started their career in 1998 as an Internal Systems Engineer at CSM. Matt then worked at ISL Biometrics as a Customer Support Specialist, providing training and support. Matt later joined Afiniti as a Consultant and played a key role in a nationwide reorganization project. At Siemens, they served as a Training Consultant for a government-sponsored initiative. Matt then joined CorpTech as a Process Improvement Manager before transitioning to roles at Instem. At Instem, they worked as a Senior Training Consultant, Presales Consultant, and Senior Product Manager, where they played an integral role in developing SaaS solutions for global pharma companies. Matt also worked at ParkIT as an IT Project Manager, Service Delivery Lead, and currently as an Operations Lead. Throughout their career, Matt has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, scale projects, streamline implementations, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Matt Watson has a Post Graduate Certificate in Computing with a specialization in Information Technology Project Management from The Open University, obtained in 2018. Matt also holds a BSc Hons degree in Psychology from Cardiff Metropolitan University, earned between 1994 and 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Matt holds the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in June 2023. Matt also has certifications in Scrum Foundation Professional, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), AgilePM® Foundation, and QD503x: Product Management with Lean, Agile, and System Design Thinking, obtained in different years. Additionally, Matt has certifications in yacht sailing and diving obtained in 2011 and 2003, respectively. Finally, they are currently pursuing a Counselling level 2 degree specializing in Counseling Psychology from Heart of Worcestershire College, expected to be completed in 2023.
