Jonathan Downes

Jonathan Downes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonathan started their career in the US Army, where they served as a Logistics Officer and held various positions of increased responsibility. Jonathan then moved to Cardinal Health, where they worked as an Operations Supervisor and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, focusing on driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements. Currently, Jonathan is working at Park National Bank, where their roles have included Assistant Vice President, Process Transformation Manager, IT Risk and Control Manager, and Mortgage Loan Operations Director. In these roles, they have demonstrated expertise in risk management, process improvement, and operations management within the banking industry.

Jonathan Downes received a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in 2008. In 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General, from Ashland University. In 2020, they attended the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training in 2015, LSS Sponser Trained certification from Cardinal Health in 2015, Kaizen Leader certification from Cardinal Health in 2014, Pathfinder School certification from the US Army in 2009, and Quartermaster Officer Basic Course certification from the US Army in 2008.
