She has participated in various aspects of school life, including diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, the Admission Committee, Advoc8, and AAA (Affinity, Alliance, and Advocacy). An accomplished Nepali dancer, Shrijana has taught after-school classes, and performed for all divisions.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Shrijana started at Park as a teaching intern, shadowing two passionate veteran teachers, and becoming adept at the skill — and art — of progressive teaching. Following her internship, she taught fourth and fifth grades at Park before joining the Middle School faculty.
Shrijana earned a B.A. in Political Science at Washington College, an M.A. in International Development and Education from University of East Anglia, Norwich, England, and is completing an M.A. in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
