James Nelson

James Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. James started their career in 1998 as President & CEO at KCnet, Inc., where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they joined Park University as a Linux Administrator. Over the years, they held various positions at Park University, including Programmer/System Analyst, Assistant Director of Software Development, Director of Software Development and Programming, and Associate Vice President of Information Technology. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Park University.

James Nelson has a Graduate Certificate in Finance, General from Park University in 2019. James also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Park University, completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Management of Information Systems from Ottawa University in 2011-2012 and an AAS in Computer Information Systems from Johnson County Community College in 2005-2006. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the Leadership Institute 2017 from EDUCAUSE and an MCSE certification from Microsoft.
