Patrick Bartels

Patrick Bartels is the current Director at Parker Drilling. Prior to this, they were with Sungard Availability Services, Hexion Inc., Parker Drilling Company, Arch Resources, Inc., and WCI Communities where they served as a member of the board of directors from September 2009 to February 2017. Patrick was also with Vanguard Natural Resources, Inc. and Redan Advisors LLC before joining TOUSA Liquidation Trust where they served as a member of the board of directors from August 2011 to November 2018. Patrick is a senior investment professional with 20 years of experience with stressed and distressed companies and situations. Patrick has invested in complex financial restructurings and process intensive situations in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia in a broad universe of industries. Patrick has also led creditors’ committees and served as a director on numerous public and private boards with an extensive track record of driving value added returns for all stakeholders through governance, incentive alignment, management evaluation, finance, capital markets and liability management transactions and M&A. Patrick has successfully developed relationships with management and investors to facilitate open communication lines to achieve value maximizing outcomes. Patrick is a CPA exam passer and holder of CFA designation, and qualified as audit committee financial expert.

Patrick Bartels completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and Finance at Bucknell University.
