Michael Polansky

Michael Polansky is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Outer Biosciences since March 2022, and as Founder and Managing Partner of Hawktail since January 2021. With extensive experience in the financial and biotech sectors, Michael holds roles as Special Advisor and CEO at the Sean Parker Family Office, and has been a Co-Founder and Board Member at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy since April 2016. Additionally, Michael is involved with several ventures including Avos Capital Management, Bunsen, and ArsenalBio, all as Co-Founder. Michael's early career included positions at Founders Fund and Bridgewater Associates. Michael graduated from Harvard University in 2006.

The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) is radically changing the way cancer research is done. Founded in 2016 through a $250 million gift from Silicon Valley entrepreneur and philanthropist Sean Parker, the San Francisco-based nonprofit is an unprecedented collaboration between the country's leading immunotherapy researchers and cancer centers, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Stanford Medicine, the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of California, San Francisco, the University of Pennsylvania and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
