Andrew Lopez

Andrew Lopez is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in banking, capital markets, and litigation. Currently serving as Counsel at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since March 2017, Andrew specializes in the Banking and Capital Markets practice group. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate at McGuireWoods, where Andrew focused on restructuring, insolvency, bankruptcy, and financial services. Andrew has also worked as a Litigation Associate at Cohen & Cohen, P.C., handling cases in Virginia and D.C. Additionally, experience encompasses filing numerous bankruptcy cases at Property Estate Law PLC and participating in civil litigation at McCarthy Wilson. Andrew's early career included serving as a Marine Naturalist with The Pacific Whale Foundation, providing educational eco-tours in Hawaii. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
